Foxy Bingo – The making of a legend. The early days of Foxy Bingo TV Ads.
Foxy, the popular Foxy Bingo character, may be a fox but he is also a fox by nature. That is why it is no surprise to see him being followed by a pack of lovely ladies as he walks around town and in this making of video, he certainly has the patter to match his style. Foxy wastes no time in showing his admiration for the girls who have turned out to walk behind but this is not just a gaggle of girls who have turned up at random, if you look closer, you will see some popular bingo calls hidden away in Foxy’s famous fans.
Immediate attention in the advert is drawn to the charming two fat ladies who are right at the front of the posse following Foxy around. However, very quickly, Foxy is engulfed with even more girls pouring out of shops, cafes and even a laundry to join in the fun. At one point, Foxy gets a pair of ladies bloomers in his face, marking him out as a match for Tom Jones in his heyday! Foxy certainly has the ability to hold these women in the palm of his hand like Tom so it is no surprise to see him hold court in such a fashion.
The musical backing track of the advert is also very Foxy with a reworked version of ‘We Are Family’ letting everyone know that bingo players have a reason to unite together. A number of Foxy Bingo players pop up to tell their fondness of the site and of the way that they like to play the online bingo games. You get a sneak peek at the work taken to pull together this sort of open air shot promotion but it also looked to be a whole lot of fun for everyone involved in the advert!
